Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address and the name you give us. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access anything else in your Google account.
• What you post. Profiles, photos, topics and responses you submit, and requests you send us.
• Your activity. Your reactions and the items you bookmark, so we can show them back to you.
• Sign-in cookies. Small cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use this information only to run Sheher Nama: to sign you in, show your name next to what you post, review submissions before they are published, and respond to requests. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Anonymous posts

When you post anonymously, readers do not see your name. Moderators can still see which account posted it, so they can act on abuse or removal requests.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in and photos) and the site is hosted by Vercel. They process it on our behalf to run the service.

Corrections, removal and deleting your account

To correct or remove something about you, use the correction and removal form. To delete your account and what you have posted, email us at msmohamedafnan17@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.
